Introducing: Texas Music Institute Network Program
Texas Music Institute is always growing and finding new ways to serve our music students and music teachers, and we are so excited to implement this new program!
The Texas Music Institute Network Program is for music educators located all over Texas, who currently have their own private studio of students. A huge part of running your own private studio includes stressful business stuff- invoicing, processing payments, organizing your income for taxes, scheduling, parent communication, finding concert venues, organizing recitals... the list goes on and on! We are here to help.
As a member of our Network Program, we will handle the business side of your studio, allowing you to do what you do best: teach. We will:
Handle all of the invoicing and money collecting for you, according to Texas Music Institute policies.
Pay you for your lessons twice a month through Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo as an independent contractor, and send you a 1099 at the end of the year, making taxes much less of a headache.
Give you your own log-in for our MyMusicStaff subscription, where you will be able to manage your teaching calendar, take attendance, schedule make-up lessons, and more. (FREE)
Help you organize your studio's recitals, no matter where you live in Texas! We'll help you find the perfect venue and even help with the communication and marketing.
What we won't do:
Control the number of students you have, your curriculum, your schedule, or anything else. You are fully in control of your studio as you were before.
Recruit for you- but you're welcome to upload your resume and a cover letter to inquire about joining our faculty!
Control your pay- you have full control over how much money you want to make, just like always.
You might be wondering- what's the catch? To be a member of our Network Program, you do not have to pay any fees at all, and it doesn't expire. We just collect 33% from each lesson to help us keep the program and the school running. You can choose to have this percentage taken from your pay, or add it to your student's current tuition (or a mixture of both. We're flexible.)
In addition to all of these perks, as a member of our Network Program, you gain a supportive network of Texas' best musicians and music educators, many of whom are members of major symphony orchestras and on faculty at prominent Texas universities.
